Psychiatrist Humphry Osmond coined the term psychedelic, which means mind manifesting. He tested the effects of drugs on people and came up with the conclusion that LSD can be used to treat alcoholism and various mental disorders. There were clinics that practiced LSD therapies, a lot of patients suffering from mental disorders recovered. At some point it was also given to children with autism. The hallucinations were recommended so that the patients could see themselves from a farther vision. These boxer prints were inspired from such hidden stories from the past.
